Description: This platter was more than likely the under platter for a serving piece - but it can stand on its own as a platter. I personally collect white Ironstone so when I encounter one at a sale I have to fight my tendency to buy every piece I see. I have several in this size or it would not be listed. I bring my white Ironstone out for the Holidays, or at this time of year - just for parties - everything looks great served on white ironstone.
