Description: Lot is for a great vintage early century collectible sterling silver baby spoon manufactured by Paye & Baker (with appropriate hallmarks). This one has raised (relief) imagery in the bowl with the title JACK & JILL, a Victorian looking baby in bib up the handle, the word BABY in script block letters leading up to a flaired tail handle tip. The spoon is curved so that the tip end rests underneath and acts as a prop/stand to keep the spoon level on the table (unlike the round curved models that roll over). Spoon is stamped STERLING with the Paye and Baker P & B in hearts hallmarks. Silver is deeply toned and has an antiqued look finish. It could be polished/cleaned to more of a bright silver, but we leave that to the ultimate owner. Spoon is 4" from bowl tip to curve with 1" of the handle resting underneath. Bowl measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4". See photos for details.
