Description: Vintage 50’s-60’s Santa Claus Large Cookie Jar- Jamar Mallory Ceramics Studio. This truly is a gem!! This vintage ceramic cookie jar is expertly painted and has no chips or cracks. No crazing. Santa’s hat has textured treatment on the hat trim and pom-pom. Please see all pictures. As shown in pictures there are two small areas on hat that has slight discoloration spots. Not noticeable at all and I’m just pointing it out so you are aware. Most likely occurred when the piece was fired. This piece is gorgeous and once in a lifetime find!! After researching this piece I found that it was created by Jamar Mallory Ceramic Studios most likely in 1950’s-1960’s. The letters JAM can be seen on underside of hat. The rest of the brand mark was covered when painted. Please note, I know shipping is costly. This piece weights over 3 1/2 pounds and will be packaged with exceptional care.
