Description: Jennings Bros. Art Nouveau Novelty Clock: porcelain dial marked J. B. Co.; key-wind; gold covered metal case.This clock is in great condition, however there are places where the plating has worn off--the creases on the cupid's hat, his toes, and the creases on the dog. This gold plating is called Ormolu, which was exclusive to the company.The Jennings Brothers Manufacturing Company was located in Connecticut. They were in business from the 1890's until the 1950's. During this time, they manufactured metal cases, candelabras, art metal, jewel boxes and silver plated flatware.
