Alongside the Tri-Plex series, this item is part of the Bass Reflex Reproducer series that represents the company. Like the highly valued "H" and "D" types of the Imperial series, the "CA" type is also highly sought after. One distinctive feature is the brass grille on the front, which despite its simple design, is aesthetically pleasing. These cabinets have become incredibly rare and are seldom seen in recent years. Although originally marketed for 12-inch units, it became popular to use 15-inch (38 cm) units, and now the 15-inch model has become the standard. This particular model has a panel thickness of 15 mm, which is 5 mm thicker than the more common 10 mm type. It is said that these cabinets were custom-ordered from Jensen to accommodate their representative 15-inch unit, the 610. Compared to the 10 mm thick version, which houses 12-inch units, this thicker 15 mm type gives a more stable and defined bass range.
