Recently I purchased a Convent's old Rosaries, Rosaries the Sisters prayed until they fell apart. They kept the Crosses, I got the beads. I made these few Prayer Beads of one Our Father and ten Hail Mary, from a Carmelite Sister's Metallic Iridescent Blue Green and somewhat Gold Rosary. I imported the lovely Gold Plated Zinc Alloy Jesus Fish Medals. NOTE: To emphasize, the Fish is Gold Plated Zinc Alloy, not solid Gold (as some people have questioned). Please be aware that Gold Plated items can remain nice for years, or be harmed if not cared for. Please keep foreign elements such as aerosols, lotions, salty liquids including heavy perspiration, etc., away from the Fish. And since this is Gold Plated, if you hold the Fish each time you pray, over time, you might begin to wear off the Gold and so your little Fish will look Silver, reflecting the lovely Zinc metal. .
