Description: Joan Rivers Victorian Language of Flowers Locket Charm Necklace 27" Gold Tone Enamel 2002 Collectible Certificate of Authenticity This is a gorgeous Victorian style flower locket necklace with 18 flower charm on a beautiful antiqued figaro chain designed by Joan River. She created the necklace with special thought given to each flower charm and their symbolism. Each flower is ornately embellished in a unique way with one or more of the following elements: enamel, simulated pearls, engraving, guilloche, hand painting, and rhinestones. Five charms are special and have a hidden image on their back side which include one of the following: angel, sun, lady bug, flower, French word "Le Fleur for flower. Joan made a wonderful collectable necklace for anyone who collects her pieces, flowers, lockets, charms and/or just loves this gorgeous necklace. This lovely necklace was sold thorough QVC in 2002. Each customer would purchase the starter necklace then every other month a set of 2 charms was purchased, total of 5 sets. The starter necklace consisted of an exquisite hand painted camellia flower locket and 8 miniature pansies and violets. Other details below.
