Signed ‘J Boyne’ lower centre left.Boyne was born in County Down, Northern Ireland and moved to England where he worked as an engraver, watercolour artist and a caricaturist. He exhibited 18 times at the Royal Academy between 1788 and 1809. Provenance: Woolley & Wallis Lot 129, 25th March 2009. Mounted, framed and glazed in a gilt wood frame.
