MINT VERY RARE VINTAGE ©1994 Johnny Lightning Commemorative Wall Poster Showcasing the Original 47 Topper Cars Produced from 1969-1971. LIMITED EDITION. All my cars pictured are MINT. POSTER IS 30 YEARS OLD!! HOW DID WE DO IT? This was a very difficult poster for me to create. Aside from the photography itself, the biggest problem we had was the perspective hurdles shooting the wood showcase. As it turned out, we shot each row of cars separately so there was no distortion or parallax. Then we Photoshopped each row into the wood frame individually to gain the proper perspective and create a beautiful, distortion-free showcase. This could never be achieved by taking one single shot of the entire case. There was no digital photography back then. So each row was an 8"x10" transparency that was scanned and placed into the proper row. In addition, the brass nameplates were not engraved. Type was placed inside each one electronically. (See reference pics for an example.) Originally introduced on the back of the blister card of the first series of the Johnny Lightning Commemorative re-release in 1994. It was only available for a very short time before we ran out. Very few of these posters are still around...especially in brand new condition like this one. It hasn't seen the light of day in 30 years! Grab it while you can! Will be professionally sealed in plastic poly bag tubing and bubble wrap and shipped in a sturdy, secure mailing tube (see pic).
