The nonstick coating on the plates is in very good slick condition. There is a small dent on the stainless steel top cover as seen in the last photo. The curved link plate shown is the only plates included. No instructions or original packaging is included. I test cooked some Johnsonville Beer Brats and Irish Garlic sausages with this cooker. They fit perfectly in the hollow areas of the plates. It creates a brown sear on the skin which looks beautiful. It tastes like the high heat penetrated the sausage for just the right amount of time without over cooking.
