THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RICH PIECE AND WHILE THE PHOTOGRAPHY IS SUB-PAR, THE SPECIMEN IS TOP CLASS! BRIGHT FLUORESCENT SPECIMEN!!! This specimen is an excellent example of Fluorite XLS. (fl. violet SW & LW) and Calcite (fl. moderate red SW) from Weardale, County Durham, United Kingdom. Nice example of this species from this locale, with distinct crystals fluorescing brightly! Displays wonderfully and is a good cabinet size. The size of the specimen is 5" (12.5 cm) by 3" (7.5 cm) by 2-1/2" (6.3 cm), a large cabinet sized specimen. Great to add to a competitive display.
