Description: Patch measures 5" overall & the blue, red & white felt layers each have a chipped edge & some light mothing. The center leather patch is painted with multicolor & is in excellent condition. Roughly 16 years ago we helped liquidate the Steven Johnson estate of Sioux Falls South Dakota. Johnson was an art student at Dartmouth College in the late 1930's through the early 40's. In the winter months he traveled to different ski Lodge resort areas & sculpted larger than life building size Ice sculptors on the grounds of the lodges. One was a polar bear the approx. 3 stories high. We sold over 35 vintage ski posters from Veil, Sun Valley & Dartmouth. This patch has re-surfaced from that estate. Even though it has minor felt damage the leather is very minty & is one of the best ski patches I could find SOLD! Thanks for looking, selling as is as described.
