Always been kept in plastic sleeves and in storage. One is called "H.R.H PRINCE EDWARD OF WALES SALUTING THE COLOURS" BY ALLAN STEWART. It is signed on bottom right by the artist! Shown in photo The other is called "HIS MAJESTY KING EDWARD VII IN FULL CORONATION ROBES" BY S. BEGG. It is also signed by the artist on the bottom right. Shown in photo Edward VII (Albert Edward; 1841 " 1910) was King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India, from 1901 until his death in 1910 It is interesting that this volume prepared for his coronation is dated June 26, 1902, which was the planned coronation date However, he had an episode of appendicitis two days before that and had to undergo surgery and hospitalization Therefore he was not actually crowned until August 9, 1902 ----------------------------------------------------------------- Please check out my other items for vintage and old antiques and collectibles with lots of rare items that were found at numerous estates across NYC, NJ, PA, IL and CT!
