Very fragile item, large thin magazine format, most have perished because of this. Magazine/ city promo is almost 130 years old and shows some signs of handling and time, it is not new or in "new" condition. Poor physical condition, yet remains overall attractive as a scarce lucky survival. Binding well age worn, covers detached and with many edge chips and splits, 1" split through edge of text block along spine. Paper is toned and somewhat brittle, many / most pages with some short edge tears. Still attractive on the shelf. The promo booklet displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in overall nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws which may be present seem easy to overlook or forgive. Please review photos for more detail showing how this book survives. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to antiquarian books, maps and printed ephemera of all types and genres.
