(sight); Note: Kiyoshi Saito was a prominent artist associated with the [sosaku-hanga] movement of the early 20th century, which emphasized the self-expression of the artist and their role as a creator, with the artist’s direct involvement in each stage of the production process being of key importance. This stands in contrast to the traditional method of print production that was employed through the [ukiyo-e] and [shin-hanga] movements, in which the labor of the production process was divided between an artist, engraver, printer, and publisher. Condition: Kiyoshi Saito "maiko Iii" Original Japanese Woodblock signed -- examined out of frame! Some small dots of foxing -- offer price reflects this.
