KODAK 100MM F/6.3 WIDE FIELD EKTAR W KODAK FLASH SUPERMATIC SHUTTER W HOOD & CAP

Description: Kodak 100mm f/6.3 Wide Field Ektar EI 785 in a Kodak Flash Supermatic shutter with the retaining ring, front cap and a lens hood/series Vll filter holder which will take high-quality Leitz and B&W Series filters. This would be a wide angle lens for 4x5. The shutter fires at all speeds and it seems somewhat near the ball park however the cocking lever feels a little gummy to me. Also, B wants to stick open. T works. I would recommend a service for the shutter and you will be fine. I gave the lens cells a basic cleaning but I could not get the front cell off, don't have the right size lens wrench, so I had to clean it through the shutter. There is also a baffle in front of the rear cell which I did not remove which made that difficult to clean. The glass looks good without fungus or haze but it could use a better cleaning. There is some minor dust. The upshot is the lens is nice but it would really shine with a CLA which would be done with a shutter service
