Aperture opens and closes easily, focusing is easy and smooth. Cosmetically there are no noticeable scratches, no dents, just some faint scuffs on the paint finish from normal use. It comes with the original metal hood and leather case that has internal padding layer disintegrated into dust, so the case will need some cleaning.
