I was hoping to use it as a 2 channel preamp only neglect all the surroundsound options. Apparently this unit was over 10K when it was new! Unit powers up and relays click and lights come on, but it won’t allow you to select anything? All parts are present and unit is in great shape. I read something that caps go out of spec in the power supply and causes the unit to behave in an unruly manner. Looks like the lid has been re-sprayed black. Moving soon, so just trying to shed some weight. Hopefully an easy repair for an experienced tech, or a parts unit as it is filled with quality parts. The volume knob looks like it weighs 8 pounds alone. Face plate is half an inch thick! Very heavy and solid unit. Will be carefully double boxed for secured shipping.
