Kurt Rueping original landscape w deer painting 24" x 20" Walt Disney artist

Description: Original painting by Kurt Rueping, believe it is acrylic painted on board. Signed lower right, original studio label on the back and titled "Consultations amongst Friends", dated 1973. Milwaukee, Wisconsin artist who did work for Walt Disney in his early life. The rabbit, the baby deer, the large buck; the lineup and imagery certainly have Bambi vibes. Good size, this is the original frame, if you look at the edges you can tell this was painted while in the frame. Direct from a local estate, remains in very good shape with just a few mild flaws. The painting itself is just about 24 3/4" x 20 3/4", frame is 29" x 25 1/4".s Very good original condition and displays well. There are no cracks, no breaks, no water damage, no repairs, no in-painting, no touch up. Did find two small and faint scratches or rubs in the paint, one above the antlers and one below the racoons. Also, one area in the sky where some of the blue is missing. There is some board showing along the top edge but that appears to be original, just a lack of paint and not loss. Frame has minor signs of age, handling, a couple small scratches and edge chips, some paint scuffs, no cracks, no breaks, good shape overall, solid. Good hanger on the back. Looks great on the wall.
