Please note that this material is highly reflective!For DIY thermoforming: Kydex Liquid Metal Thermoform Sheet is very similar to both Holstex and Boltaron in the way it forms when heated and molded around an object. Once cooled, this material will keep the shape of the item that was used to mold the shape into place. In its cooled state, it is very durable and light weight, yet is it semi-transparent, allowing visibility of the item being carried.Easy to form: To use KYDEX Liquid Metal thermoform sheet, score and cut a piece slightly larger than the object being covered. Heat the material to a 300-375 degree Fahrenheit range and place over object. Using forming foam, press the material around the object and allow it to cool in position.
