To make sure the roller runs perfect I completely disassemble, inspect, clean and polish the roller and carefully press in two brand new bearings (same exact model and brand as the factory uses to make it performs like a brand new one (see photos).Over the years Landice used 2 styles of keepers to secure the bearings in the roller on one side. The older treadmills used locking collars and they later used a slide on Keeper (See Last Photo of 8700 rollers for reference). Both styles work good and the rollers are 100% interchangeable.
