The bowl is designed in a Mid-Century ruffled handkerchief style with raised 22K gold gilded flowers and leaves overlay covering the whole surface. This particular style of gilding is reminiscent of glass from Belgium and also the Hollywood Regency opulence with its intricate and richness from the 50's. This bowl is unique in that it is a much larger bowl than what was produced at this time and that is also has a matching ruffled foot underneath the bowl which adds to its flair. The bowl measures approximately 11" across by 4" high and is in perfect Mid- Century condition with no visible anomalies. This bowl would add an elegant accent to any dinner party or environments requiring upscale pieces.
