Description: Vintage Large German / French Bisque Romantic Couple on Balcony Figural Group - 11.5" Tall Being offered for your consideration is this large vintage German or French bisque porcelain figural group of a young romantic couple. This large figural group features a lovely young lady seat on a balcony with a handsome young man standing with his right hand over her shoulder. The faces of both lady and gentleman are beautifully painted with a blush of color on their cheeks and well painted eyes. The figural group is fully painted on all sides with gold trim highlights on both figures with beading on their clothing and on the front of the balcony. The use of soft colors of mint green and blue on the gentleman and lavender and peach on the lady adds to the attractiveness of this piece. The only mark that we were able to locate was a model number on the lower backside that reads ‘3882’ and is repeated on the underside rim in pencil with three other notations which we were unable to read (see photographs). We believe this was either made in Germany or in France, but because it is not marked with maker name or origin, we think the buyer should take the time to determine this on their own. This figural group is in excellent condition with only the slightest amount of wear to some of the gold on the lady’s one shoe. Their faces are pristine as are the rest of the figurine’s surfaces. No issues were found on their hands or fingers. Truly a rare find for the collector! Please take the time to carefully examine all the photographs for more details. NO Chips, Cracks, Nicks, Scratches, Stains, Repairs or Restorations were noted. As mentioned in the description, there is some slight wear to the gold on the lady's shoe.
