No side or corner is damaged. - The natural luster on every side is brilliant and flashy, and some faces are so complex that they sparkle and shimmer at you when move around it in the light. - The pictures cannot do it justice. The golden color is richer in person than in the photos, but this piece will also pick up and reflect whatever colors are near it in the room. - I have constructed a custom fit museum-type display base for this piece, and it holds the piece snug and sturdy.
