Description: Le Gran S Classic 1970s Mens QuartzWatch Day & Date indicators Looks Runs Great Box # 4 bag #1 Here's a scarce older Le Gran "S" model mens classic day/date quartz watch from early to mid 1970's in fine condition. The watch itself is great, and it runs like a top, so nice, and it keeps excellent time. The band is in good shape, too, but it does have some plating loss on the upper half. Overall, this is a fantastic classic mens watch-- these were popular back in the day along with the Seiko 404 mens watches and this one is comparable to the Seiko of the same time frame. I love the tri-tone dial pattern-- it is very striking and looks awesome. the crystal is fine with minimall wear. The lugs are excellent. This watch did not get a whole lot of use, that is obvious, but it does have wear to the band, mostly. It's a great example of a le Gran S model in better than average condition. I really like this one! i think you will too. It's very dependable. Great vintage classic quartz! New long lasting silver-oxide battery was just installed and tested and keeping perfect time.
