Description: Here is a nice late version Leica 50mm f2 Summicron dual range M mount prime lens for the Leica film and digital camera user. The lens serial number is 2235495. With an adapter you can also use this lens on many other mirror-less digital camera too. This is a very nice and sharp close up M lens for you to use on the Leica M 11 digital camera. It is in Excellent++ condition and shown with some signs of use. Overall the lens outside looks pretty nice with some bright use marks but no ding or dent nor any deep scratch mark shown on the lens barrel. The optics see through from the center are pretty good except for some light haze and scratch-like fungus marks shown around the outer edge just underneath the front lens optic, and some shown on the inside rear element as you can see from the detail pictures. There are also some normal cleaning marks and dust shown on the lens too. The lens blades are clean and free of oil and the aperture clicks stop are crisp and it focuses smoothly and works fine too. All my tested images taken from this lens came out are pretty nice and sharp and it seems those fungus marks do not affect the image quality at all, unless you are taking picture directly in front of a strong bright light then it will affect the image quality. Please noted: Because of the lens optics issue, I'm selling it "AS IS" for parts only with No return or refund. So please make sure this is what you want to buy before your purchase. Luckily this lens still produce very nice and sharp images as is. So you can buy it for a good price and enjoy using it as a work horse and no need to worry how to baby it. After all its a very nice good use lens for any Leica lover and user at a good price.
