Description: This is Lionel No. 3519 Post War O Gauge Satellite Launcher Car from 1961-64. The satellite launcher is wound by hand and it can be launched remotely using an uncoupler track section such as the 027 gauge No. 6019 or the O Gauge UCS section, or it can be launched manually by a never on the side of the car. Condition-wise, other than one broken stirrup step it is really nice, the yellow antenna and the chrome top of the satellite are reproduction pieces that look great. The launching mechanism works very well. Bring the space age to your post war layout today!
