The nose decal on the A unit has some flaking and there are a few tiny paint "chips", but there are no chips or cracks in the plastic parts and no rust on the metal parts. The battery compartment is spotless. There are no boxes included with this set. This set was my own, but I am dwindling my collection. I have recently serviced this engine which includes removal of old grease, complete lubrication of all moving parts, thorough cleaning of the e-unit and motors and the installation of new motor brushes for many more years of quality performance. This set runs great. It is ready to go on your layout or display shelf when it arrives. The horn has also been serviced, tested and works.
