Description: Lledo Promotional Models Diecast Model Vehicle LP7-007 - 1930 Ford Model A Woody Wagon Maynard's Wine Gums Promotional pack with (empty) sweets tub Jack Odell, one of the founders of the Matchbox diecast company, founded Lledo (Odell backwards) in 1982, and launched the "Days Gone" range of models in 1983, serving a market previously popularised by the Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" series. The 1930 Ford Model A "Woody Wagon" was one of the earliest models in the Days Gone range, and it proved very popular, appearing in many different liveries. The promotional market became Lledo's bread and butter, with companies and organisations able to order limited runs of the models with their own livery, and the Woody Wagon was a popular choice. This model was produced in 1993, for Maynard's, and was sold through Woolworths in a pack with a cardboard tub of wine gums. It is offered here still with the original tub, although the sweets themselves were obviously eaten long ago! Excellent pre-owned condition. Sweet Tub has no serious dents or rips.
