The set appears to have been gently read. The pagesare crisp and sharp except for the issue noted below. Six of the books have a large stain on the outside bottom of the pages. It does go into the pages in some places, but it NEVER touches of affects the text. Most of the books have foxing/spotting on the outside top and/or outside bottom/sideof the pages. The covers are good with some spots, mostly on the spine.The text on the spines is faded. It's really a good, sturdy set, just with some cosmetic issues!
