Description: Nice lot of 3 vintage 78 rpm records from the Decca label! In order of appearance in the pictures, they are: 1.) #48000 - Kokomo Arnold - “Milk Cow Blues'” on one side, and “Old Original Kokomo Blues” on the other side. 2.) #27898 - Louis Jordan and his Tympany Five - “No Sale” on one side, and “Lay Somethin' on the Bar (Besides Your Elbows)” on the other side. 3.) #8672 - Sister Rosetta Tharpe - “Singing in My Soul” on one side, and “I Claim Jesus First” on the other side. All three records are pretty clean for their age, with some of the expected scuffs and scratches, but nothing that affects the sound quality too much. The Louis Jordan album also has a small chip along the edge of one side, just barely into the sound grooves. Also, the Rosetta Tharpe album has a chip to the outer edge of the record, but luckily this is not in the sound-producing area. I tried to highlight these spots, as well as any more significant scratches, in the photos. All of the record labels also show signs of being dropped on the post, with some scratches and wear showing in these locations, along with a little fading. Please see pictures for best idea of condition. Nevertheless, a cool set of vintage songs!
