Lot of 2 Framed Vintage Dufex Foil Art Prints ~ Unicorn & Baby ~ & With Flowers

Description: Listed are two vintage 1980's framed Dufex Foil Unicorn prints. The foil gives a brilliance to the prints that cannot be adequately captured in a photograph. The first is of "Unicorn Standing up on a cliff amongst wild flowers"" with a white Unicorn overlooking shimmering water against a backdrop of a rainbow and clouds. The second is of "Unicorn standing up with a unicorn baby" amongst a bed of wild flowers. Prints are 6.25 inch by 8.25 inch, in 9 by 11 inch frames. Frames can stand on their own or be hung with hangars on the back. Dufex printing was a process developed by F.J. Warren in the early 20th century, and involves printing images onto aluminium foil-lined paper or cardboard, using UV formulated transparent inks, which allow the reflective shine to be retained.
