LEWIS LEPRILETE MILLER - He has gray hair and a chin beard in both photos Doctor Lewis Leprilete Miller was a surgeon in Providence for decades and the president of the RHODE ISLAND MEDICAL SOCIETY from 1846 to 1847. CDV 1 - Dr. Miller is standing and wearing a long overcoat. He is holding a top hat in his right hand - Stamped on the back: DUNSHEE, ARTIST, 175 WESTMINSTER ST., PROV. R.I. (Providence, Rhode Island) - Thie edges of this CDV were trimmed at one time. Some smudging and wear on the front and browning and brown spots on the back. CDV 2 - Dr. Miller is looking to his right side - Stamped on the back: GORHAM MR'G CO., 12 STEEPLE ST., PROV., R.I. (Providence, Rhode Island) - Written in pencil on the upper back: BORN 1798, DIED MARCH 8th, 1870, AGED 72 YEARS - A little wear on the front. A little browning and brown spots on the back.
