Description: A few years ago, I purchased a large collection of vintage photo prints consisting of (mostly) steam locomotive roster shots from the 1920s and 1930s. Almost all of them were taken by the late Cecil C. Grayson. These prints were typically made directly from negatives, and after they were created, the negatives were destroyed. The prints were then traded amongst railfans, much like slides are today. It is likely that these are the only copies of these images still in existence. A portion of the collection contains photos of shortlines and regional roads from the southern United States (Mr. Grayson lived in Texas so much of his photography was done in the south). These prints are not needed for my collection, so they are being offered for sale in groups organized by railroad. I took photos of these groups for the eBay listing with a phone, so they are obviously much sharper than they appear. Any light glare does not appear on the actual prints. Each print measures roughly 3.5" x 6" and they are all in good condition.
