Description: Every year I get a wonderful yield from this particular tree. My records of planting many years ago, and the characteristics of this peach, indicate they are the Elberta variety. After harvest, those I eat fresh I immediately freeze the seeds; those I do not eat immediately, I freeze the whole fruit. As I eat the frozen fruit I then refreeze the seeds. First pictures are of a typical year (picked end of August or September in Northern Ohio). Picture of seeds is what they look like; their size can vary somewhat. The last picture is of the tree from an upper window. Elberta peach is sometimes characterized as the most popular peach, and has been cultivated for a long time. You can find considerable information about it with a Google search.
