Working condition of the engine before disassembly is unknown. We assume this item is a good REBUILDABLE CORE, but we don't know for sure. Here's what we think we know now about this engine:It appears to be an O-290G case that has been machined for full conical mounts, and the crank end flange milled off for use with an aircraft-style flywheel, essentially converting it into an O-290D case. It uses solid lifters instead of hydraulic lifters like a D2. There is no data plate, and a search of the casting numbers came up with nothing. Casting # 61828 on each side of the crankcase. There's a small plate with the word MOHAWK on each side of the case. The pictures are of the actual items you will receive.
