This is a Mackie Designs Big Knob Studio+, serial number 204785000BPOM0163. This was owned by professional bass player Howie Pyro of The Blessed, Freaks, D Generation, PCP Highway, and Danzig. There are a few other items from the estate here. This came from the estate sale without the 2 track pushbutton cap on the back, the talkback level knob on the front, and the power supply. All of this was replaced at Synhouse, not original parts, but excellent (two of those parts actually used in Synhouse manufacturing so you know they're good), especially the power supply with the now-built-in grounded 3-prong power cord instead of the cheap coffee pot cheater cord. This is in very good shape and has been tested as demonstrated in the video. The approximate manufacturing date for this is 2018 or 2019. Testing: I put my own professional CD player CD audio (not included) through it for testing. I don't have any music USB computers around here, so only the analog inputs and outputs were tested, and all the knobs were tested. The meters are beautiful and the large aluminum knob is glorious to use as you can see in the video. What I like best about this is the very heavy steel chassis that makes it sit on the rubber feet very solidly and doesn't wiggle under your fingers, despite its small size. And excellent looks and feel. Testing this with the XLR inputs and 1/4" outputs into the MX882 mixer/Hafler amp, played through it, and ran through all the controls. They are excellent, smooth, and all knob controls are responsive. All is good here, all is working well. Good contact on the jacks. Really as if factory fresh in that regard, I think his place was cleaned up quickly and all the power supplies and some knobs got lost. This likely hadn't been powered up since 2020 or so. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shipping This will be VERY safely packed for shipment.
