Description: Maestro Sustainer Guitar Pedal. As Is. THIS UNIT DOES NOT WORK. My dad bought me this pedal, used, along with a Kustom amp in 1974. I used the pedal at a few gigs but had not used it since 1977. It has been carefully stored in my pet and smoke-free home. I was extremely disappointed when I finally fired it up after 45 years and it didn’t work! You can play through the unit to the amp. Once you press the foot switch to engage the sustainer, the unit goes silent. I had it professionally checked out and the consensus is , the circuit board was encased in some type of epoxy/resin in order to keep the circuitry process secret. This unit was not yet patented. There is a grommet on the end which appears it could’ve been prepared for an AC cord. There is also one small, approximately 16th inch hole, drilled on the bottom of the unit. The control dials and foot switch allwork smoothly. please check the photos carefully. Please contact me with any questions. Please check my other listings!
