Description: Vintage IVORYCRAFT 2 tone hunter green bakelite Mahjongg set c. 1930 - 40. The tiles have a butterscotch color on the front facing and hunter green on the backs but are solid without seams. All tiles match with fair to good uniformity. Due to the aging process of the bakelite some of the tiles are a slightly lighter butterscotch color. Every tile has been thoroughly cleaned as well as the case and racks. The green faux alligator case is functional and in good shape commensurate with its age. It is a Cardinal case as noted by the inside sticker. There are two tiles that have slight cracks as seen in the picture with 6 tiles. They are the middle two. They are not noticeable to touch or without careful examination. There are 152 tiles in the set with 8 stickered for use as Jokers as Jokers were not introduced until 1960. Included: 4 colored bakelite racks with functional flippies for betting coins.
