This illustration was reissued in the 1980s in the "Printed in Spain" and "Printed in Turkey" series as Mainzer card catalog number 4706. This is Hartung's second version of this scene, originally issued in Europe in the late 1940s as Edition Max Kunzli 4728 in which the passing automobile has yet to appear. Condition is very good.
