Description: Have you ever wanted to create a ship in a bottle? And not any ship but the Titanic Here is a USA made Titanic Ship in a Bottle kit made by award-winning craftsman Gary Kummer who developed the wood making jigs to create the Titanic in miniature out of wood. This is a complete kit with bottle, cork, unpainted ship model with smokestacks and masts including rigging. Modeling clay, cotton "smoke" and a quartz iceberg complete the items for the diorama. A stand is included. As you can see, I assembled mine outside of the bottle, collapsed the masts, then pulled on the bow string to erect them and set in the holes. I will explain this method with my assembly and modeling tips included. Even though a stand is provided you might want to get a nice flat piece of driftwood to really customize your finished bottle. I was a scrimshander and marine artist in the 80s and 90s and am happy to offer this unique kit. I am a big fan of using oil-based paint pens or markers for clean lines and little mess. (Paint pens are not included.) Finally, this is not for the faint of heart or one with limited modeling skills. Making the model outside the bottle won't be hard, but the rest can be a bit stressful.
