Description: Man-Thing Issue #1. (Marvel, 1974.) Great condition. Complete and unrestored. There is a small price sticker on the front cover. There are a few very tiny ticks along the spine. Very light wear along the edges and a very faint, very small (about 3/4") crease at the lower right corner. Please see the photos. Packaged in a 2-mil clear sleeve with backing board then wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard for shipping via USPS to the U.S. only. This comic is from what I call my "U of I Collection". I was a student at the University of Illinois from 1972-1975 and purchased a lot of comics at two drug stores and a record store in campus town. (Despite spending too much time reading comics, listening to music, and partying, I did manage to graduate.) All of those comics have been carefully stored all these years. I was surprised to discover that I had 2-1/2 long boxes of comics from 1972-75, almost all in excellent condition. I don't remember buying that many, but it was 50 years ago. For the last few years, I have been selling these comics and buying some very nice guitars with the "comic book money". (Many thanks to all of the eBay buyers who have made that possible!)
