Marantz 1180DC Integrated Amplifier, Cleaned and Tested

Description: A somewhat rare Marantz 1180DC integrated amplifier in very good condition. Everything checks out ok except that phono 1 has a hum when a turntable is plugged in, phono 2 works nice & quietly. Very powerful with strong bass and clean highs. These units are known to run a little hot and this one is no exception. I used a small fan to help with this and it was fine, search for "120mm x 25mm 110V 220V AC Powered Cooling Fan with Speed Controller 3V to 12V, 1225 AC 115V 120V 220V 240V for Cooling Ventilation". It is quite inexpensive and small, you can plug it into the switched outlet on the back so that it only is on when the unit is on. EDIT: The original Marantz outputs are still in use, added a pic as someone asked about them. The face plate was removed, cleaned & polished with Blue Magic. The case was removed, cleaned & restored, dust was blown out from the interior. All knobs and switch covers were removed and cleaned, all potentiometers and switches were cleaned and treated with Deoxit D5 or Deoxit F100L Fader Lube for long term protection. All functions and speaker connections were tested good.
