Description: Vintage MARBLE'S ever popular Woodcraft model Hunter-Skinner - simply the best blade design for skinning. An early "serif pointing let" roller coaster Mãrble's / GLADSTONE. / MICH. U.S.A. and PAT'D. 1916 / USA stamps on ricasso. The early-style oval pommel with a "large" 1/2" brass lag nut on a stacked leather handle - short-lived 1920-1923 manufacture; a hard-to-find Woodcraft specimen. The knife is about 7-7/8"/20 cm overall; the blade is about 4"/10.2 cm; the blade has been re-sharpened and polished; the edge is razor-sharp still, the tip is intact. Stacked leather washers with colored fiber & brass spacers handle; "large nut" aluminum pommel & bronze guard. The handle is solid; all parts are tight with no play. The sheath's keeper was probably replaced; the leather is soft and supple.
