She caught her attention in 2021 when she won first prize and the audience prize at the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition, which is said to be the gateway to success for young violinists. She has since performed on the world stage as a soloist with leading orchestras, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic led by Gustavo Dudamel. Dueñas has announced that she has signed an exclusive contract with her prestigious Deutsche Grammophon (DG) in October 2022.
