Description: Oberon Design (located in Santa Rosa, CA) is one of the finest makers of beautifully tooled leather items ranging from hair barrettes to -- as here -- their classic notebook (formerly called Moleskine) covers. I bought this notebook cover directly from the maker when it was offered as a limited offering. Altho it's technically used, as usual it shows no signs whatever of wear. It hasn't even begun to develop the patina that it will develop over time. The leather itself also will soften to feel wonderful in the hand. Anything made by Oberon Design is a treasure. NOTE: This is the same size across and tall as Oberon Design's large journal cover but its spine is narrower -- 7/8" versus 1-1/4" for the large journal covers.
