Marillion - *RARE* Clutching At Straws - EMI - ADVANCE cassette 1987

Description: Cassette appears in phenomenal condition. Have not played it EVER since I've owned it (since the late 80s), has been safely packed in temperature-controlled storage along with the rest of my music stuff from back then. Clearly it HAS been played, since the tape is not fully rewound. Case also show some signs of use. It's a plain jewel case, so I could have just swapped it out with a pristine one and no one would ever know, but FWIW, this is the case it came with, that it came to me in. Sold as-is, though I believe it to be in playable and working order. Cassette - ADVANCE COPY of "CLUTCHING AT STRAWS" from the label (EMI) WHAT IS AN "ADVANCE CASSETTE?" At least in the pre-internet days: An "advance" cassette was released to select places well in advance of the general release of the album to create early buzz. A "promo" cassette would have been a cassette tape that a record label releases to promote an album already released or just about to be released. Promo cassettes may or may not be rare, but advance cassettes are usually extremely rare. Record labels tended to not like releasing recordings early, so only advanced out to very select, carefully chosen people.Ships well padded and protected via USPS Ground Advantage.
