Description: Up for sale is an upgraded Marklin HO, 3042 DB Electric Locomotive, Excellent Condition/Digital/Analog/with Box and Papers. The locomotive is built with a durable and intricate very detailed and durable plastic top shell mounted on a heavy diecast chassis. It has an upgraded very powerful five pole engine which is digitally controlled and runs on analog as well as digital Marklin systems. I tested it on my analog as well as on my digital trainset and it did run very smooth and silent including the directional light function in digital mode. The engine is very powerful and was professionally installed. The same applies to the digital controller. The digital address is set to # 78 and can easily be changed (see pictures 16 & 17).When I carefully inspected this Locomotive I lubricated the engine, transmission and axles. It's ready to go. This Locomotive has hardly seen any use and comes in a more like new condition than in an excellent condition. The original box and service instructions are included.
