Description: Here's a rare find -- a Jane and Gordon Martz spice jar (referred to as an herb jar in a 1950s catalog) designed for the famous Marshall Studios in Veedersburg, Indiana. This beautiful light blue ceramic piece is complete with its original cork top and has the Martz signature on the bottom with an M99 mark. Could also be used as a vase or small water jug. May date from the 1960s and was purchased during a sale at the original studios in Veedersburg in the 1980s or 90s. Measures 3.5"H and 2"W at the top and 2.75"W at the base. With cork, the height is 4.5"H. Was never used and only on display so it is pristine. There are no nicks or scratches but there is one slight chip on the cork but there are a few small holes that look to be part of the manufacturing process -- see last three photos. Rare to find with the cork. From a smoke-free home. Willing to bundle with other items to save on postage.
