Description: Martin S1 Ukelele 1920-1921 Excellent. Condition is "Used". I am not an expert but have done quite a bit of research. Here is what I have ascertained about this. Inherited from Father and Grandfather Martin S1 as best I can tell. Fret markers 5,7,10th frets No decal on front Original wood friction tuning pegs Stamp on back of peg area and inside parallel to brace. No serial number 5 rings around sound hole Binding on front looks like 3 layers. Binding on back is dark wood One small crack has been professionally reinforced from the inside GREAT Shape, finish has aged as normal. Sound is excellent. I will post pics but of course will send any more that might be needed. Happy to do what ever is needed for authentication and open honest communication on this vintage instrument. Includes new foam reinforced case, tuning device and humidifier. Extra foam added to case interior. New strings. I attempted to learn to play but do not have the time to master. This needs to be in the hands of a musician who can play and appreciate.
